TrainingPeaks Release Notes - 2014

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 12.3.2014

New Features:

Athletes and Coaches can now access calendar settings layout.

Athletes and Coaches can now customize distance units by sport type in QuickView.

Athletes and Coaches will now be notified if a weigh metric is needed in order to update the Power Profile Chart.

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue where a workout couldn't be deleted from the workout library

Fixed an issue where the Dashboard Peaks Charts were not displaying the comparison correctly

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 11.20.2014

New Features:

Coaches can now access their Account Management page from within the coach account settings.

Athletes and Coaches can now un-share a workout library from within their account.

Athletes and Coaches can switch their calendar to Compact Mode (will allow for 4 to 6 weeks to be shown on calendar).

Added in-app messaging highlighting the Power Profile Chart and Comparison Chart.

Resolved Issues:

Resolved an issue when searching through workout library- the library will not expand, but will show a numerical value if any fields match the search.

Resolved an issue where users created a new workout library, but were not able to add to the library without refreshing the page.  Users can now add without refreshing.

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 11.12.2014

New Features:

When searching Workout Libraries, all libraries will not expand but will remained collapsed.

Coaches can now lock/unlock workouts for a specific workout, range of days.

Coaches can now hide/ show workouts by week or range of days.

Athlete and Coaches can now find comparison data series in the Mean Max Chart when expanded.

When updating settings for a specific workout type, you will be directed to that sport type in settings after clicking gear icon.

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue where users were able drag and drop between the metric layout settings and ATP layout settings.

Fixed an issue where some users were uploading unsupported device files.  Users will now receive an error message "Unsupported File Types".

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 11.6.2014

New Features:

The new TrainingPeaks is now the default view for all coaches and athletes.

Athletes and Coaches can now edit Week Summary information (i.e. ATP Options).

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 10.29.2014

New Features:

Added Power Profile Chart to Dashboard

Coaches and Athletes can now un-share an exercise library that they owned and shared with another user

Post Workout Notifications for Athletes are now defaulted on when added to Coach (Premium Athlete Feature)

Can now use special symbols when searching Libraries, such as decimals

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue where searching in the Workout Library was working very slowly

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 10.22.2014

New Features:

Updated the Dynamic plan to show the Full Calendar date, so that Coaches will now see the actual dates when planning

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue where a Dynamic plan was loading past workouts on an Athlete's calendar

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 10.15.2014

New Features:

Athletes can now configure Workout QuickView from their user settings when accessing the Beta site.

Athletes and Coaches can now share a Workout Library using an email link through the Beta site.

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue where ATP Race Names, when entered in all capital letters, was not wrapping text.

Fixed an issue where Athletes were being asked to update their user settings multiple times upon login

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 10.6.2014

New Features:

Coaches can now “Hide workouts” when using the Beta site

Coaches and Premium Athletes will now see their ATP information in the week summary when using the Beta site

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue where the workout description formatting was being lost when the workout was saved to the library

Fixed an issue where the link for a Public File Viewer of a workout was not finding the workout

Fixed an issue where coaches couldn’t create a new workout library when viewing a shared library

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 9.10.2014

New Features:

The Macronutrient chart how have the choice between Calories and % on the Y axis when using the Beta site

When accessing the Exercise Library, you can now add attachments from the Exercise Library Quick View

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue where the Workout  Comment box would time out too soon when entering comments

Fixed an issue where phone numbers (cell phone and home home) were switched in User Settings

Fixed an issue where Athlete's requesting a coach through the email link was not working properly

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 9.3.2014

New Features:

Coaches can now create a new Training plan when the Beta Site

Coaches and Athletes can now create a new workout template when in the Beta Site

Coaches can now create training plan “look up names”- now called “Add to private web page” when in the Beta site

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue with outdated country codes where users in the Netherlands, Curacao and Saint Martin were receiving error messages when trying to purchase

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 8.27.2014

 New Features:

The Public File Viewer will now Default to Three Active Channels. Order of priority: Elevation, power, HR, cad, speed, rpower, torque, temp

Coaches can now create and edit coupons for published plans when accessing the Beta site

Resolved Issues:

Remove Google Maps as an option when viewing workouts on the Map & Graph in the Classic site due to Google removing support for flash based API.  Google Maps are available in the Beta site

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 8.20.2014

New Features:

Coaches can now edit the price for a training plan when logged into their account in the Beta site

In Beta, post-activity comments will now be listed on the Calendar Tile instead of the Garmin Connect AutoSync comment

Coaches can now edit Plan Category, Description, and Event settings for Training Plans in the Beta Site

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue in Beta caused by Equipment validation where users were being prompted to edit equipment information when accessing settings

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 8.6.2014

 Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue that was causing an error when pasting a workout in the Beta site

Fixed an issue where metrics were being entered multiple times on some user’s calendars in the Beta site

Fixed an issue where coaches without any of their own athletes were not able to work with their assistant’s athletes in the Beta site

Fixed an Android issue where Basic users in New Zealand couldn’t login

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 7.31.2014

New Features:

Coaches can now load a training plan to their calendar when accessing the Beta site

Coaches who create a new account in the Beta site for a new athlete will have a password auto generated.  Once the new athlete logs into their account for the first time with the auto generated password, they will be required to create a new password.  Please note- the athlete will only see the prompt to change their password when logging in the first time from a computer (will not see the prompt in the mobile app)

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue where swim yards were showing as miles in week summary in the Beta site

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 7.23.2014

New Features:

In Beta, coaches can now make their training plans Public and add to the TrainingPeaks Training Plan store from the plan settings

In Beta, athletes can now remove a coach from their account- head coach or shared coach (will still need to add coach from Classic)

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue where a Coach’s athlete client didn’t list who was their coach in the Client List when viewing in Beta

Fixed an issue with files not being stored as compressed, even though the file extension suggested it was a compressed file

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 7.16.2014

New Features:

Upgraded the Coach Match page to show Featured Certified Coaches.

Enhanced styling for the TrainingPeaks Blog on mobile devices.

Coaches can now find relationship information for athletes in the client list in the Beta app.

Added the ability for coaches to determine if their athletes see the TrainingPeaks logo

Resolved Issues:

Fixed some issues when using the Tour Tracker and then clicking to view the Public File  Viewer of a rider’s file.

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 7.9.2014

New Features:

Coaches can now upgrade a Basic Client to Premium.

Head coaches will no longer see their Assistant Coach’s shared clients.

Resolved Issue:

Fix an issue with the SRM parser where the parser wasn’t reading files correctly.

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 7.3.2014

New Features:

Coaches can now move clients between basic and premium.

Coaches can now add and / or remove their business / brand logo within Coach settings.

There is now a Global Search box in the Training Plan Store to make finding plans easier.

The map on the Public File Viewer will now be hidden if there is no GPS data for the workout.

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue in with default zones not being set correctly for athlete accounts created from within the coaches account.

Fixed an issue where the “Save and Close” button was not working for athlete settings from within in coach account.

FIx an issue on the Apply Plan page (after purchasing a Training Plan) where the calendar arrows were missing.

Fixed an issue with Garmin Connect™ AutoSync not respecting certain time zones.

Fixed an issue with Garmin Connect™ AutoSync files missing some data channels.

Fixed an issue with swim laps and Garmin .fit files where rest intervals were showing incorrectly.

Fixed some .gpx and .tcx file parsing errors where the files were not being accepted.

Fixed an issue that was causing Threshold Notifications and Auto-Apply Threshold to not be applied or send notifications.

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 6.18.2014

New Features:

Added new images to the homepage slider

Coaches can now sort their athlete list in Beta by last name or last planned workout

Coaches can now share, unshare and remove a client from their account in Beta

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue where the request to add as coach link was incomplete when shared from an athlete to the prospective coach

Fixed an issue where an athlete’s name was not being updated when edited by the coach from “settings”

Fixed an issue where workouts were not being deleted when using the “delete” key

Fixed an issue where Coaches and Athletes logging into app.trainingpeaks.com were nto getting a correct seesion ID and therefore, could not log in

 

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 6.6.2014

New Features:

Coaches can now upload a new logo to the header in the Beta site.

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue in Device Agent where files were not respecting the sport type.

Fixed an issue in Beta where ghost images were being displayed in the headers.

Fixed an issue in the Public File Viewer where the social media icons were not being displayed correctly when accessing from iPhones/iPads.

Fixed an issue in the Public File Viewer  with long names for laps not being displayed correctly.

Fixed an issue in Beta where workout comments were disappearing.

Fixed an issue where the Peak Charts in the Dashboard were not updating.

TrainingPeaks Release Notes 5.21.2014

New Features:

Coaches can now see their assistants and their assistants’ clients in their people library in Beta.

Athletes and assistant coaches are now sorted in alphabetical order in the people library by last name, first name in Beta.

Resolved Issues:

Fixed an issue in Beta where the Performance Management Chart “broke” if you entered an empty date.

Fixed an issue in Beta where you could only copy/paste items on the calendar once.

Fixed an issue where .fit files uploaded to the Beta site via drag and drop were being stored in the .pwx file format.  (Now only multi sport files are stored as .pwx, all others will remain in the .fit file format)

Fixed an issue with coach reporting not working correctly.
