TrainingPeaks Virtual hosts regular community objectives and leaderboards to provide a common focus for healthy competition. These take place over a set period – currently monthly – and you can contribute to the results throughout that time. Typically, these challenges consist of:
- A cumulative challenge, such as the total distance travelled during the month, where every ride you do counts.
- A one-off challenge, such as the fastest time you can set on a specific time trial course, where you can attempt the challenge when you want, as many times as you want, and only your best result counts.
Results can also be filtered by just those you follow, or for females only, so you can compare how you’ve done against your friends and peers, as well as against everyone else in the community.
