Trainer Day

You can create structured workouts in Trainer Day and send them to your TrainingPeaks athlete calendar.

Connect TrainingPeaks and Trainer Day

  1. Log on to your Training Day Account
  2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner.
  3. From the drop-down menu, choose, "Apps and Devices"
  4. A list appears.  Click "Connect to TrainingPeaks".
  5. A tab appears prompting you to enter your TrainingPeaks athlete login credentials.
  6. If entered correctly, a prompt appears to confirm the connection.

Selecting Workout of the Day (WOD) from TrainingPeaks

  1. Log on to your Training Day Account
  2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner.
  3. From the drop-down menu, choose, "Apps and Devices"
  4. A list appears.  Click 'Connect to TrainingPeaks'.*
  5. A tab appears prompting you to enter your TrainingPeaks athlete login credentials.
  6. If entered correctly, a prompt appears to confirm the connection.
  7. Select the checkbox 'Enable WOD'. 
  8. Open the Trainer Day app. Click the 'sync' icon on the top right of your mobile screen. 
  9. Go to the plan tab.  Your workout from TrainingPeaks will appear there (if you have a planned workout on TrainingPeaks scheduled for today).

*If you've already connected TrainingPeaks with Training Day before February 21st, 2021, then you need to disconnect and reconnect again to receive the WOD.

Sending workouts to TrainingPeaks

  1. From the left-hand drawer, navigate to the "My Library" page.
  2. Select the workout you wish to send to TrainingPeaks. 
  3. On the right side, click the "Send to" icon and choose TrainingPeaks.
  4. Confirm send.  If sent successfully, the send icon will briefly flash "success."
  5. The workout appears on today's date. 

Please Note

You can also send single weeks at a time to your TrainingPeaks athlete account from Trainer day. This might be useful if you miss several workouts, are sick, or have a vacation.

  1. From Trainer Day's web app, log in.
  2. Under Training Plans select 'My plan'. A pop-up window appears.
  3. Under the 'Actions' button, select Send and Download.
  4. From the Send plan tab, select TrainingPeaks from the drop-down.
  5. Select the week you'd like to send to your TrainingPeaks athlete calendar.
  6. Select send.
  7. Navigate to TrainingPeaks. Your plan from Trainer Day will appear.  If it does not, make sure to refresh your TrainingPeaks calendar.
