Sync Completed Workouts to TrainingPeaks
For ELEMNT ACE and the Wahoo app:
Use the Wahoo app to allow completed Wahoo activities to be shared with TrainingPeaks. First, go to the settings page in the app and find the Authorized Apps list. Select TrainingPeaks and enter your log-in credentials and tap the Allow button to authenticate your account. Completed activities can now be sent from Wahoo to TrainingPeaks.
Turn on the auto-share setting in the Wahoo app to allow newly recorded workouts to share automatically, or share activities individually from the sharing menu on the Activity Details page.
For ELEMNT, BOLT 1, BOLT 2, ROAM 1, and ROAM 2:
Use the ELEMNT companion app to set your workouts to automatically sync to TrainingPeaks. First, on your Profile page in the Companion App select “Linked Accounts”, then “TrainingPeaks” and enter your log-in credentials to authenticate your account.
Sync Planned Structured Workouts to Wahoo
For ELEMNT ACE and the Wahoo app:
Use the Wahoo app to connect to TrainingPeaks. First, go to the settings page in the app and find the Authorized Apps list. Select TrainingPeaks, enter your login credentials, and tap the Allow button to authenticate your account. Your TrainingPeaks workouts will now appear in the Wahoo app and on ELEMNT ACE.
- Once TrainingPeaks has been authorized, there are two ways to get planned structured workouts onto your ELEMNT device.
- From the Wahoo App, go to the My plan section of the home screen. Tap on a workout to see details and tap the Start workout button to see the option to send it to your ELEMNT. It will transmit over Bluetooth and will be ready to execute on your device.
- Over Wifi - if your ELEMNT is connected to your home or work Wifi you can hit the menu button on the left side of the device, navigate to the "Planned Workouts" list and select "sync" to sync your workouts directly to your device.
- Things to remember
- For a planned workout to sync to your ELEMNT it must be a structured workout created with the Workout Builder
- The next 5 workouts in your TrainingPeaks account will sync over Wifi to the device or to the companion app
- For specific questions about executing planned workouts or the Planned Workout mode page on the ELEMNT you can check the Wahoo Help Center
- The label of each step in the structured workout in TrainingPeaks (Active, recovery, or your own custom label) will show in the interval prompt on your device.
For ELEMNT, BOLT 1, BOLT 2, ROAM 1, and ROAM 2:
Make sure that you have the most current version of both the ELEMNT/BOLT firmware and the most current version of the ELEMNT companion mobile app for iOS or Android.
- Using the Wahoo ELEMNT Companion App, link your TrainingPeaks account
- Under "Profile" select "Linked Accounts" and tap the TrainingPeaks option to authorize the sync. This will sync your planned structured workouts to your ELEMNT as well as sync your completed workouts to your TrainingPeaks account
- Once the connection to TrainingPeaks is authorized there are 2 ways to sync your planned workouts to your device
- Through the companion app - under the "Ride" tab you can select "planned workouts" and then sort by "schedule" to sync your planned workout from TrainingPeaks. You can then select the correct workout for the day to sync it to your ELEMNT over Bluetooth
- Over Wifi - if your ELEMNT is connected to your home or work Wifi you can hit the menu button on the left side of the device, then scroll to the "Planned Workouts" line and select "sync" to sync your workouts directly to your device.
