Q: What makes a TrainingPeaks Level 2 Accredited Coach so special?
A: Our level 2 coaches have attained the highest level of TrainingPeaks accreditation. Level 2 coaches have completed TrainingPeaks University and have demonstrated their expert ability to utilize metrics in TrainingPeaks. They can provide you with the expert instruction and feedback you need to achieve your goals.
Q: I’m really busy with a full time job, kids, etc. Can a coach help me fit training into my busy schedule?
A: YES! How much time you’ll need for training will be determined largely by what your goal is. Our coaches specialize in working with time crunched athletes and busy professionals. The beauty of personalized coaching over a training plan is that your coach will work with your available time and specific schedule to maximize the time you have and get the most out of your training.
Q: Remote coaching? How does that work?
A: TrainingPeaks is designed to be a virtual environment for you and your coach to work together in. Your coach will provide detailed workouts via your TrainingPeaks account. As you complete your workouts you’ll upload them to TrainingPeaks where your coach will be able to analyze the metrics from your run, ride or swim depending on your coaching level. Communication is carried out via TrainingPeaks, text, email, phone, etc.
Q: Are there any time commitments?
A: No! Coaching is paid in 30 day increments, month-to-month on your original payment date. So, if your coaching begins on April 12th then your payment will be on the 12th each month. You may cancel at any time by contacting a Coach Match Manager or Specialist; a cancellation will take effect on your next payment date. Example: If you last paid on October 12th and request a cancellation on November 2nd you will be “paid through” November 12th. Your coaching will end on November 12th and you will not be charged again. We do have a 30-day money back guarantee if you are, for any reason, unhappy with your coaching. This must be requested at the time of cancellation. Keep in mind working with a coach is a process and progress takes time. We recommend nine months at a minimum to get the most out of coaching.
